Alana-Podcast4 Stereotypes

This week Im starting part one of a many part series discussing different stereotypes of black men. Iv also added pictures to correspond with the topics I address during the podcast. I am also rethinking about weather or not I should put my face out there. I know  it might not sit well with my managers at work but I do feel I owe it to all you readers who have supported this blog to have a face to go along with it lol. Well keep sending me your emails and keep the comments coming. Tootles

dont post your photo because you will catch hell. trust me.

    • Eunice says:

Catch hell from who? This is her website and last time I checked this is a free country.

      • bonyjoop says:

from ignorant people that she work for as she stated before. just because the sign says A.B and C. doesnt mean it really is A B and C.

you should know that. the constitution says all men are created equal but they had slaves and the seperate but equal laws and ect…do I need to remind you of a man getting killed in Mississippi for being black.

        I mean honestly

    Alana,

I am glad that you plan to put a face behind the voice. I think it enhances your message.

  3. Be like that sometimes says:

dude don’t put your photo up your going to get fired.

    • Eunice says:

      Fired for what?

      • Like me people are concerned i might get fired from my job because of the content of this site. I live in the deep south(Texas) and not sure how my managers would take to me running this IR blog. Maybe you live in a more liberal area but things are not as progressive as you would think everywhere else.

  4. Eunice says:

Wow!! I had no clue you lived in the south judging by the language you use in your twitter you seem like someone that is from a urban area (East or West coast). Given what you just said I guess not posting your pics would be the best thing to do. But this site is not that popular you barely have anyone commenting on your posts so I doubt that anyone more specifically your employers would find this site out.

You say that a lot of women are attracted to the player-rapper and athlete type (by showing black male images). Why do you think that players are necessarily blacks? For instance, Did you ever see Ashton Kutcher’s list of movies where he plays the role of a player? If anything he represents the image of the American player for American women who like the player type as more than 90% of white women end up with white men and out of all those white men, yes some are or have been players but any smart enough woman will figure out that she’s better off seedling down with someone whose monogamous. So when you say a LOT of women like the player type, what are your stats or sources of info?

Another thing is that you can still meet guys who are social and not necessarily considered to be huge players that sleep here and there. A social guy doesn’t necessarily have to be a player… I’m saying this through personal observation and common-sense.

  6. jac says:

    LOL… ha!

  7. Ak Smith says:

Wait on one hand you say there is no difference in penis size, yet on the other hand say black men overall are better endowed? What does that even mean.

Your 3rd stereotype I’m sorry you just made excuses. I read somewhere 70% of black kids are out of wedlock. Vast majority of them raised by single mothers. Its not an excuse. Instead having raised by single mothers they would’ve been more sensitive and would’ve been better fathers. Something that happens in other ethnicities. Its simply they don’t care, its a cultural thing.

There is a saying among them, hit and run, and let someoen else take care of the baby. This is fundamental reason why white parents don’t want their kids dating black men. If she gets knocked up and he leaves her no white guy will touch her. There is NO excuse period. Does it happen in all communities yeah, but too high of a proportion in black community. Those poor black single women end up in a life of poverty and struggle ie there mothers too.

    Like Tupac said in ‘Keep Ya Head up’;
You know it makes me unhappy, (what’s that)
When brothas make babies and leave a young mother to be a pappy

And your advise that find a black guy who has a job isn’t simple as that either. They too leave their kids hence can pay the support. Others can’t hence the welfare and life of poverty. Another non PC way to say it could’ve been, just date Black guys and be selective, avoid Ghetto and niggas (not racial slur but in context of Chris Rock saying I love black people but hate niggers).
