Every Monday Im going to try and give you guys a post about my current life. Just a young single gal working hard, and trying to find “Mr. Right.” My work week started very hectic. I work at a high end fashion store and the fall clothing lines are starting to come in. So we had to change some of the displays and re-dress some mannequins. Ever try dressing a mannequin? It can be hell trying to get them in and out these expensive designer clothes lol. Any how I was so ready for the weekend and got off late Friday afternoon. I then went and picked up my TobyBear( my French poodle) from doggy daycare. I love the staff there. They are so nice and he always comes home happy and most importantly TIRED! lol I relaxed a bit then showered and got ready for my date with this fine black guy I have been talking/texting with for a about a month.
This was our first official date and I was super excited! He picked me up in a new model all white corvette YUMMY! No Im not all about what a man drives, but I sure do appreciate a nice car when I see one. We went to this great steak place in Addison(a suburb of Dallas). Just so you know, steak is my favorite food so he scored extra brownie points with me for remembering. After dinner we talked and walked around the nearby lake. The slight breeze made for a real peaceful and relaxing scene, which was what I needed after that long work week. So there we were holding hands underneath the moonlight and he leans in and kisses me. I know it sounds cheesey but fellas a gal just wants to be courted, you know it’s the effort that counts. Anyhow, ladies he is a great kisser and even though I was tispy and things could have gotten hot and heavy, he respected my wishes to end the night on that note. Saturday was girls night out. Im pretty cool with the bouncers at the club we went to so we were able to bypass the long line and get in. Not that we are anything special but lets face it, a group of pretty girls can usually get into any club anyways. The DJ was on fire, playing all our favorite jams like Kelly Rowland’s- Motivation. So me and my girls were dancing having a good time being the center of attention. You know people will either hate or show love when they see a group of white girls dancing in a urban club. Sure enough this drunk guy tries to holla at us with lame lines and referring to us as “snow bunnies.” Once he realized no one was interested he storms off calling us white bitches! Please, just because no one wants to talk to your drunk ugly ass, we have to be white bitches? Why cant we just be bitches? Lol Anyways, a real man approached me later by introducing himself like a gentlemen and offering me a drink. We talked for a bit and the conversation was great. Before the night ended I gave him my number and hope to hear from him soon. Sunday I just relaxed and chilled with family. That’s was pretty much how my week went until next week tootles!!
