During the adolescent years, particularly high school, dating can be really difficult. Your developing as a person, trying to figure out who you are. You are dealing with friends, clicks, popularity & the in crowd. This time can be very tough on interracial relationships because of how clicky high school can be. It could be that you & your man belong to different social groups, & you feel pressure to have a mate that is acceptable to them. Go to a high school in even the most liberal & diverse of places, I still bet you will see students separated by race at lunch time. This is because people naturally gravitate towards people that look like them, & kids at this age wont usually go out of their way to socialize with other groups. Dont let this stop you from dating outside your race. It is good to be able to socialize with other groups of people, & having a boyfriend/girlfriend in another group is the easiest way to be introduced to that group. So to all my high school & college students, dont be afraid to seek a mate of a different color regardless of the social pressure you might face.
I agree. I am a black male and I have never been with a female of my race. I was often made fun of when I was in school but I didn’t care. It shouldn’t matter about the color of ur skin if u love that person then love them for who they are and not what they look like or what they have cause love dosnt come around like that so injoy it while u have it.

Every white parents nightmare, please don’t be a ghetto or a nigga. The MTV effect I guess. Even though there are still a lot of previlages, but white parents will still be more accepting of a black kid who is respectful, not thug or pimp wanna be, doesn’t call girls b!tches and hoes, treats her right, does good in school, has ambition etc.
